Assault Charges Laid Against Five Huron County Men

Five Huron County men are facing assault charges after an incident earlier this week in Culross Township.

An OPP investigation concluded that the five men forced their way into a Culross Township home Monday night and allegedly assaulted the homeowner with a weapon.  The homeowner suffered minor injuries.

The group left in a pickup truck, which the homeowner was able to describe. The truck was located in Clinton, and Huron OPP arrested the men without incident.

All five are charged with break and enter, and assault with a weapon.

They have been identified as 22-year old Skylar Geddes of Goderich, 25-year-old Wayne Geddes of Goderich, 25-year-old Kyle Hodges of Goderich, 26-year-old Ian Reinsma of Central Huron, and 29-year-old Curtis Snell of the Municipality of Bluewater.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
