Model Homes Near Bayfield Hit By Thieves

OPP officers are continuing to investigate a break-in and theft at the Bluewater Golf Course and Campground, north of Bayfield.

Sometime between April 17 and April 21, three model homes were forced open at the mobile home sales centre.

Some of the stolen items included end tables, wine chillers, fireplaces and a mattress. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $8,000 to $10,000.

The glass on one of the fireplace units was also broken.

Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Huron OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
