Minto Mayor George Bridge is the new chair of Westario Power.
Westario is a public-private partnership formed in 2000.
It has 21,000 customers in municipalities including Brockton, Hanover, Huron-Kinloss, Kincardine, Saugeen Shores, South Bruce and Wingham.
Bridge says he is looking forward to his first one-year term which he expects to be “challenging."
