There's a job fair in Port Elgin this weekend for a "growing" industry.
The Kincardine-area 7 Acres Cannabis Greenhouse is putting on the recruitment event at the Plex.
The company is hiring up to 20 people this month for growing and sanitation positions, but expects to have a full range of positions open later in the year.
7 Acres representatives will be collecting resumes and cover letters Saturday from 9am to 5pm at The Plex. Call-backs and interviews will be scheduled for Sunday.
The company's goal over the next six to eight months is to continue hiring in almost every department.
The greenhouse complex at the Bruce Energy Centre site currently employs about 50 people.
