Upper Grand Celebrates LGBTQ Students

The Rainbow Coalition Conference is underway Friday to celebrate and support LGBTQ students with the Upper Grand District School Board.

The conference is an annual event for Grade 7 through 12 students to learn, gather resources, and connect with like minded people.

The conference at the University of Guelph features dynamic keynote speakers to inspire students with stories of experience and growth.

There are a variety of workshops to help students explore identity and diversity.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
