Study Looks At Airport Revenue Potential For Goderich-Wingham

Huron County is in the process of hiring a consultant to conduct a feasibility study on the airports in Goderich and Wingham.

County Director of Economic Development Andrew Kemp says they're hoping the studies will help them identify ways they can increase revenue from both airports and possibly find ways of sharing services.

Kemp points out airports throughout the province and around the world have taken advantage of the opportunity for revenue-generating activity not directly related to the airport.

A flight school is one possible activity for increasing traffic at the airports in Goderich and Wingham.
