OPP Search Not Over For Armed Huron Township Male

According to residents living in an area that was part of an OPP search in southern Bruce County, police pulled out earlier on Friday.

A farm property south of Ripley was cordoned off late Thursday as they continued their search for a man thought to be carrying a gun. OPP have confirmed they are searching for Glenn O'Neill, 29, of Huron Township. He's described as a white male, 6'0" tall, weighing 200 lbs, with blue eyes and short brown hair. He is wanted for four counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited, and two counts of possessing a weapon.

In some Facebook posts today, local residents stated that search teams had pulled out of the area.

The OPP had requested residents in the area to report any suspicious persons or activity. The OPP would like anyone who knows of Glenn O'Neill's whereabouts to call local police or dial 911.
