Skate Park In Clinton Almost Ready

Central Huron Mayor Jim Ginn says work is progressing well on the skate park in Clinton.

Ginn says the concrete was scheduled to be poured this week and the sidwalks and the ramp to the washrooms has been started and they're ready to start with the electrical work. Ginn says originally they had hoped to have the park ready for the May 24th long weekend but explains the concrete has to cure for a month before they can lay the rubberized pad on top of it.

Ginn says the big delay was in the length of time it took for all of the orders from various companies to be delivered but Ginn says it should be ready about a month after the concrete has been poured.
