UPDATE: Missing Man Located

Family and friends are reporting that 78-year-old David Slosser has been found safe.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 78-year-old man from the Walkerton area.

The Ontario Provincial Police say David Slosser was last seen leaving his home at Hwy. 9 near Sideroad 5 S, to go for a drive on Wednesday around 9am.

Officers would like to locate him to verify his well-being.

Slosser is described as 5'9" tall, weighing 165 lbs, with a short, slim build, white hair, green eyes and prescription glasses.  He was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt, brown pants and brown shoes.  He also drives a red Dodge Caravan with licence plate BAKK 795.

Anyone with information about Slosser's whereabouts is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
