North Stars Drop Two to Ennismore

Scott Defrancesco and Zack Thompson each scored and had a pair of assists but it was not enough as the Owen Sound North Stars dropped an 8-6 decision to the Ennismore James Gang yesterday.

It was the second loss the North Stars suffered in as many days to Ennismore.

Todd Greer had two goals for Owen Sound. Kyle Childerhose scored and set up another and Zac Coulter had a goal in the defeat.

The James Gang were led by Josh Gilray with four goals an an assists. Jeff Swift scored twice and set up four of Ennismore's goals.

The North Stars lost Saturday's game 9-6 to the James Gang and are now ranked 5th in the league with 4 points at 2-3.

The James Gang are third at 3-4 with six points. The Six Nations Rivermen lead the Senior B Lacrosse league with 14 points and a perfect 7-0 record.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
