Town of St. Marys Emergency Services Exercise Wednesday

There will be a lot of unusual traffic and activity in the Town of St. Marys Wednesday.

An emergency services exercise will take place near the corner of James St.  N and Station St.  Agencies taking part include the St. Marys Fire Department, Perth Paramedic Services, St. John Ambulance, Perth County OPP, and the Town of St. Marys.

Students from St. Marys District Collegiate and Vocational Institute will also be involved.

This emergency exercise is to begin around 7am Wednesday morning.

Station St. and the section of James St. N between Egan Ave. and Widder St. E in St. Marys will be closed during the exercise.

Drivers are advised to consider alternate routes to avoid delays.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
