Huron OPP Charge A Man For Using A Truck As A Weapon

Huron County OPP say  a man faces charges after a pick up truck was used as a weapon.
OPP were called to a dangerous driving complaint on the evening of June 25th on Huron Street south of Dashwood.
Police say a man and a woman were riding an ATV when they stopped at the end of a laneway.
Police say a Ford F-150 pickup truck drove past the ATV in an agressive, erratic manner, spraying gravel at the riders.
Police say the truck then turned and drove directly at the ATV, ramming his truck into the machine with the victims still seated on it.
Investigators add the ATV driver tried to stop the accused, but was hit in the head with a weapon.
The ATV riders sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The accused sped off, but then later turned himself into OPP in Exeter.
Police say a 33 year old  North Middlesex man is charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assault with a weapon, and fail to stop at an accident.
He has an appearance scheduled for July 10 in Goderich.
