Authorities in Owen Sound are investigating a Canada Day house fire that sent one woman to hospital.
The fire broke out just before 5:30pm Saturday, according to the Owen Sound Police, at a home in the 1400-block of 8th Ave E.
The single-family residence suffered serious damage. A 31-year-old woman was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office is assisting local police and fire in trying to determine the cause of the fire.
