Owen Sound Welcomes Big Rubber Duck

The world's largest rubber duck is arriving at the Georgian Shores Marina on Thursday.

The duck will be towed to the west harbour wall near the Owen Sound Visitors Centre for Friday's Waterfront Festival.

The duck debuted at the Redpath Waterfront Festival at Toronto's Waterfront last weekend, and attracted over 750,000 people.

A $121,000 grant from Ontario Tourism enabled the duck to be rented, and featured at various venues in the province.

The duck will remain in owen Sound from 5pm Friday to 9pm on Sunday.
