Former Blue Jay Jesse Barfield Back In Huron-Bruce for Baseball Camps

Former Toronto Blue Jays great Jesse Barfield says he really enjoys coming to the Ben Lobb baseball camps in Clinton and Kincardine.
Barfield was in Clinton on Monday for the first of two days there before they head up to Kincardine.

He says he particularly likes the way the kids pay attention and they're anxious to learn and improve.   Barfield says he uses a lot of video on his cell phone to show the kids what some of today's sluggers are doing and when they see the video they can relate to it.

He also says it's all about muscle memory, so it's important to learn the right way.    He says it's difficult for some kids at first but when he gets them in the right hitting position they're pretty surprised at how the ball pops of their bats.

Barfield will be in Clinton again today and in Kincardine on Wednesday and Thursday.
