Grey County OPP are investigating a break-in at Maxwell Meats in Grey Highlands.
On July 11 at 6:22am, Grey County OPP responded to a break-in call at Maxwell Meats on Grey Rd. 4, east of Flesherton. Sometime between 11pm on Monday and 6am on Tuesday, unknown person(s) broke into the business.
A safe was entered, and a quantity of cash, gold coins, silver bars and collectible coins were removed. Other stolen property included fireworks and cigarettes.
Grey County OPP and the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit, Mount Forest, continue to investigate. Anyone with information on the break-in is encouraged to contact Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
