South Bruce OPP Arrest Man Breaking Into Ripley Legion

South Bruce OPP have arrested a man who allegedly broke into the Legion in Ripley.

On Wednesday at 3:53am, a South Bruce OPP officer was patrolling in the Village of Ripley in Huron-Kinloss Township, when he noticed broken glass on the sidewalk outside the Legion on Jessie St.. The officer observed a person inside the building wearing a mask and camo clothing.

Officers located a suspect who was allegedly hiding in the storage area of the legion. He was arrested without incident and taken to the Walkerton detachment.

Quinn Michael Campbell, 20, of Wingham has been charged with break and enter with the intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of methamphetamine. He remains in custody following a bail hearing.
