Police Consider Link Between Drayton And Milverton Robberies

Investigators are considering a link between the bank robberies in Drayton and Milverton.

The RBC branch in Drayton was robbed Tuesday at around 4pm, and the CIBC in Milverton was robbed last week.

Police have released a description of the suspect involved in the robbery in Drayton.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue ball cap with Montreal Canadiens logo along with khaki shorts which fell below knee, a grey t-shirt and a black bandanna was covering the suspect's face.

And police are still investigating the robbery in Milverton, which happened on Tuesday, July 25 at around 1:30pm.

A man entered the CIBC bank on Main St. N, and confronted the employees with an undisclosed weapon and made off with cash. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The suspect described as a white male, around 6' tall, with a thin build and he had a blue and white bandanna partially covering his face.
