Huron County CAO Says Trust Invaluable

Huron County's CAO is moving on after four years.

Brenda Orchard attended her last meeting of county council on Wednesday. She is leaving to assume the CAO position in Lennox and Addington, just west of Kingston.

Orchard says she's pleased with what council has accomplished in the last four years and points to a culture change as the biggest achievement.

She says there is a trust and level of accountability between staff and council and the approach to leadership training has been invaluable.

Cultural Services Director Meghan Wark will be Huron County's interim CAO for the next six months.
