Police Ask for Help Locating a Missing Tobermory Man

Bruce Peninsula OPP are asking for the public's help to find a missing 84-year-old man.

In a release, police say Walter Allan of Tobermory was reported missing by his family.

Police say Allan told his family he was heading to Montreal to attend a conference on July 18 and would return home on July 23. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Allan has Parkinson's disease and is suspended from driving. He is described as white, 5'8", 150lbs with a thin build and white hair. He has a full white beard.

Police say he may be operating a red, 2007 Ford Focus ZXW station-wagon style vehicle with Ontario plates ABNW 718.

Police are concerned about his wellbeing and are asking anyone who has information about his whereabouts to contact them.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
