Hundreds of Dogs In Harrison Park In Owen Sound

Some of the finest dogs in Canada and the U.S. took over Harrison Park in Owen Sound for the annual Grey Bruce Kennel and Obedience Club Dog Show.

The events ran from Tuesday to Thursday with two full shows of about 200 dogs each day.

Each of the six shows has a "best in show" dog.

Will Alexander of Milton is a handler. He showed four "best in show" dogs and says the Owen Sound show is one of the best.

"I love this show, I love the club, the club looks after us so well and you can't have a better venue it's so beautiful here in Harrison Park and I love Owen Sound so it's always fun to come up here," says Alexander.

Grey Bruce Kennel and Obedience Club President Bruce MacPherson says one of the reasons for the success of the show is the well qualified judges who make their determinations.
