Man Dies After Being Kicked By Horse In Huron-Kinloss

Police have completed an investigation after a man was fatally injured by a horse in Huron-Kinloss Township.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Friday at around 7:13pm, officers were called to private property on Bruce Rd. 6, after the man was kicked in the chest by a horse.

Police say the man was injured when he attempted to unhitch the horse from a buggy, and the horse became spooked and ran off.

Reuben Bauman, 21, of Gladstone, Manitoba died as a result of his injuries.

Police say Bauman's next of kin have been notified and foul play is not suspected.
