Firearm Stolen In Grey County Break-In

Grey County OPP say a gun was taken in a break-in in Georgian Bluffs.

The break-in happened at a home on Hwy. 6 sometime between August 12 and August 19.

A cordless phone, Samsung Tablet, Lincoln electric welder, and a welding helmet were also taken.

The gun is a .22 calibre lever action Marlin Safety rifle.

Anyone with information regarding this break-in is asked to call Grey County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
