Near-Drowning In Family Pool Near Lucan

A little boy remains in very serious condition in hospital, after nearly drowning Wednesday night near Lucan.

Middlesex-London EMS, the Lucan Biddulph Fire Department and OPP responded to a residence in the township around 8:15pm.

A 3-year-old boy had been found unresponsive in the family pool.

Family members and EMS were able to resuscitate the boy, who was then rushed to hospital.

His condition is still reported as life threatening.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
