The City of Owen Sound has a new manager of community development and marketing.
Brent Fisher will take on the new position, which was created by a staffing realignment, and will save taxpayers money.
The manager of economic development and tourism and the communications advisor positions were both vacant and were merged.
Brent is currently the facilities booking coordinator and was previously the director of marketing with the OHL's Owen Sound Attack.
