49th Annual Goderich Labour Day Fastball Tournament

The 49th annual Goderich Labour Day Fastball Tournament begins this evening.

There are 12 teams in the mix including the host Goderich Grizzlies, Dundalk Smoke, Rockwood Rush, Sebringville Sting, Shakespeare Falcons and Wroxeter Royals.

The tournament gets underway this evening at 7 pm when the host team plays Rockwood and the Sebringville Sting take on the Chippewa Chiefs.

The finals go Sunday evening with Monday set aside as a rain day.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
