UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Ends

Forecasters had been tracking wild weather moving across Midwestern Ontario for Labour Day.

Environment Canada had issued severe thunderstorm warnings for portions of the region throughout the evening. Radar had showed a severe thunderstorm passing through the area, capable of producing high winds gusting up to 90 km/hr.

The warning was downgraded to a watch shortly after 6:30pm Monday, and cancelled completely two hours later.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
