Two Hurt In Crash Near Blyth

A Goderich woman is recovering from serious injuries after a crash northeast of Blyth.

It happened on Clyde Line between Cranbrook Rd. and St. Michael's Rd. just before 7:30pm Tuesday night.

Police say a Chevrolet Impala collided with a tree in the northbound ditch. Both the driver and the passenger were able to free themselves from the vehicle and were waiting nearby when emergency crews arrived.

A 26-year old Goderich woman was taken to a hospital in London with serious but non-life threatening injuries, while a 35-year old man from Seaforth was treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.

The police report did not specify who the driver was.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
