South Bruce OPP Arrest Wanted Male

South Bruce OPP have arrested a man wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle.

On September 13 at 2:01pm, an officer observed a black Chevy Silverado pick-up that had been reported stolen driving on Campbell St. in Lucknow. The truck was pulled over and the male driver was arrested without incident and the officer found he was wanted on outstanding charges.

Michael Chapman, 47, of South Huron was charged with possess stolen property, drive while disqualified, remove vehicle identification number, use unauthorized plate, drive with no insurance, 2 counts of drive while suspended and 2 counts of breach probation. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for September 14, 2017.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
