South Bruce OPP Investigating Truck And Tools Theft

South Bruce OPP are investigating after a truck was stolen from a residence early this morning.

At 3:58am this morning, OPP responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence in the 600-block of South Kinloss Ave. in Kinloss Township. The owner was awakened by the engine noise, as the blue Dodge Ram pick-up truck with licence #FX9928 was taken. Welding equipment was also taken, including a Redi-Art welder, welding cables, and assorted tools.

The value of the stolen tools is estimated at over $18,000. The value of the pick-up is unknown.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
