Grant Awarded To Bluewater Area Family Health Team

Bluewater council has voted to give the Bluewater and Area Family Health Team an immediate grant of $10,000 from the health care reserve.

The original request was for $117,000, and Mayor Tyler Hessel says council will donate the $10,000 now and then council will debate a further grant and the amount of that grant during budget deliberations.

Hessel also pointed out he can't predict what council might decide, but suggests if they do vote to donate the balance of $107,000, it will likely be phased over a period of time.
