Man Stabbed In Thornbury

A Blue Mountains man is facing charges after another man was stabbed in the Town of Thornbury.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on September 27 around 1pm,  officers responded to a home Victoria St. S, after an argument between two men led to one of them being stabbed with an edged weapon.

A 44-year-old man from the Blue Mountains was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

As a result of the incident, a 26-year-old man, also from the Blue Mountains, has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and failing to comply with a probation order.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
