Woman Charged In Goderich Drug Bust

A Goderich woman has been charged after thousands of dollars in drugs were seized from a home in the town.

Officers with the OPP executed a search warrant at a residence on Wolfe St. on Thursday, and seized cocaine, oxycodone, cannabis marijuana, and psilocybin with a combined street value around $3,589.  Police also seized drug trafficking paraphernalia with a value of around $1,500.

As a result, a 23-year-old Goderich woman is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and marijuana, as well as possession of psilocybin and oxycodone. She has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for November 6.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
