Offender With Ties To South Bruce Peninsula Wanted

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a federal offender with ties to South Bruce Peninsula.

Andrew Stockwell, 28, is wanted for breach of parole.

He is serving a sentence of two years, seven months for possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order, and possession of a Schedule I substance.

Stockwell is described as a white male, 6'2" tall, 160 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police says  he is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area, the Region of Waterloo, and the South Bruce Peninsula area.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
