Collingwood Death Remains Under Investigation

The sudden death of a woman in Collingwood remains an OPP investigation.

Officers with the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP detachment were called to a residence on Trott Blvd. in Collingwood last Wednesday morning.

Donna Walc, 74, of Collingwood was pronounced dead at that time. An autopsy was conducted the next day, but the cause of death has not been released.

The OPP Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services continue their investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
