Special Weather Statement Ends for Midwestern Ontario

A special weather statement for Midwestern Ontario has ended.

A wind warning had been issued by Environment Canada after high sustained winds were in their forecast. That warning has since been cancelled.

The windy weather has caused some power outages throughout the region. Hydro One reports that at 8pm, around 4,200 customers in the Grand Bend area are without power, with about 3,400 customers in the dark across the region.
