Andrew Scheer Speaks In Stratford Thursday

A prominent federal politician will be in Stratford this week.

Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer will meet with supporters and community members on Thursday at the Army Navy and Air Force Veterans Banquet Hall.

Scheer, who is the official opposition leader in the House of Commons, will be the guest of Perth-Wellington MP John Nater.

The meet-and-greet session starts at 6pm Thursday evening at the Banquet Hall on Lorne Ave. E in Stratford.

Prior to being elected leader of the Conservative Party of Canada earlier this year, Scheer was speaker of the House of Commons from 2011 to 2015. He has represented the riding of Regina-Qu’Appelle since 2004.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
