UPDATE: Listowel Hallowe'en Walk Next Weekend

A Hallowe'en Walk and Touch a Truck event is planned in Listowel next Sunday.

The Perth County OPP Auxiliary, Perth County Paramedics, North Perth Fire and Victim Services Grey Bruce Perth are hosting a Special Olympics-torch Run fundraiser.

Children can dress up for the best costume competition and join the Hallowe'en walk.

Children can also view the emergency vehicles and equipment.

There will be a 50/50 draw and refreshments. All members of the community can come out to enjoy the fun.

The event will take place at the North Perth OPP parking lot Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 10am - 2pm.

Since 1987, police services across the province have raised more than $35-million to help Special Olympics Ontario support sports and social opportunities for more than 20,000 people with intellectual disabilities in Ontario. Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
