Grey County OPP Called To Multiple Crashes Involving Deer

Grey County OPP was called to 11 separate motor vehicle collisions with deer over a 27 hour period on the weekend.

No one was hurt in the crashes between the Friday evening and 11:30pm on Sunday.

Police are reminding motorists to be especially attentive from sunset to midnight, and during the hours near sunrise.

Deer seldom run alone, so if you see one, there may be more. Use your high beams when you can to illuminate the eyes of nearby deer.

Slowdown and blow a long blast on your horn to frighten the deer away.  Brake firmly, but don't swerve.
