PJHL Wrap-Up: Patriots Stun the Flyers

Adel Zivojevic was the lone scorer for the Walkerton Hawks as they lost 5-1 to Stayner.

The Hawks had ten power play opportunities but failed to capitalize on any of them. Stayner was 2 for 6 with the man advantage.

JD Falconer had a pair of goals and an assist for the Siskins. Jordan Taylor scored and set up two of the Siskins goals.

Marcus Semiao stopped 45 shots to earn the win. Mathew Donnely made 41 saves for the Hawks.

Mount Forest 9 Goderich 3

The Mount Forest Patriots out shot the Goderich Flyers 45-25 en route to a 9-3 win.

Blair Butchart scored and set up five of the Patriots goals for six points and Klayton Hoelscher had three goals and four assists. Shawn Lantz had four assists in the win and Ryley Cribbin scored and set up two for Mount Forest.

Noah Kuno, Noah Nurse and Chad Treble scored for Goderich.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
