Municipality Of Bluewater Starts Pre-Budget Work

The mayor of the Municipality of Bluewater says council has asked all of the municipality's managers to prepare a report on their plans and expectations for the next year.

It's to see how they match up with the strategic plan the municipality has been trying to put together.

Hessel says all of the departments are at, or close to, capacity as far as staffing is concerned, so now would be the appropriate time to look at expectations compared to the strategic plan.

"We've asked all of our managers to come back with kind of an outline of how they're going to take their next year and reflect it on the strategic plan that we've been trying to implement for so long," says Hessel. "And now that we have, more or less, a full staff of every department we wanted the managers to come back with their projections for the coming year."
