Downtown Mount Forest Features Veterans Banners

Veterans banners now hanging in Mount Forest’s downtown.

Legion member Derek Moore says he enjoyed seeing similar banners that appeared in Harriston a few years ago and then in Arthur.

He decided it was time Mount Forest had some, too.   He hoped to get a dozen banners this year, but wound up with 27.

The banners are sold for $200 each, and are open to all veterans, living or deceased, who have served in the Canadian or Commonwealth Armed Forces in Peacetime or at war.
