Hanover's LaunchPad Very Popular

There is a lot of optimism surrounding Hanover's LaunchPad youth activities centre.

Executive Director Jacinda Rudolph says 92 per cent of available spots for their fall programs have been filled.

LaunchPad offers a variety of programs, including welding, robotics, sewing and computer skills.

Rudolph says they are offering more seasonal-based programs, which she's hoping will allow them to adapt to the interests of youth today.

Hanover Mayor Sue Paterson says it's great to see the town's youth buying into the centre, which offers a chance to learn skills and prepare for the future.
