Efforts Underway To Create Saugeen Shores Climate Hub

Local residents are being offered a chance to see the new Al Gore documentary called An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power.

The film screening will take place at 4pm both Saturday and Sunday at the Port Elgin Cinema.

Victoria Serda was recently a mentor on Gore's panel in Pittsburgh at a climate leadership training session.

This weekend's event is aimed at launching a Saugeen Shores Community Climate Hub.

The hub would create events to engage residents with hopes of moving the municipality toward carbon neutrality.

The documentary will be discussed at the Rabbit Dash Coffee shop at 2pm prior to the shows and following the screening as well.

SauGreen, Port Elgin Cinemas, the Climate Reality Project Canada, and Rabbit Dash are partnering on the events.
