Arrest Made In Port Elgin Armed Robbery

Saugeen Shores police have made an arrest in connection with the robbery at the Circle K Convenience store in Port Elgin.

One young person is in custody, but no other information has been released, and police say the investigation is continuing.

The robbery occurred shortly before 3am Sunday morning when a lone male entered the store, holding a handgun.

He pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money.

Cash was turned over to the suspect, who then fled. The clerk was not injured.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
