Man Dies In Georgian Bluffs Collision

The OPP say a 53-year-old Georgian Bluffs man has died following a collision early Saturday morning.

Grey County and Bruce Peninsula OPP responded to the collision about 1:05am involving a Dodge Dakota pickup truck and a Ford Edge SUV. The crash occurred at the intersection of Zion Church Rd. and Grey Rd. 17 in Georgian Bluffs.

Allan Joyce was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the 23-year-old driver of the SUV suffered serious injuries, and a 52-year-old woman was treated for minor injuries. Joyce was also a passenger in the Edge.

The driver of the Dodge Dakota pick-up truck, a 31-year old woman from Wiarton, sustained serious non-life threatening injuries. A 34-year old male passenger from Owen Sound suffered minor injuries.

Grey County OPP, with the assistance of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators, continue to investigate the collision. Charges are anticipated.

Zion Church Rd. was closed between Concession 21 and Concession 17. Grey Road 17 was also closed between Thompson Sideroad and Sideroad 315. All roads have since been reopened.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
