PJHL Wrap Up: Hawks Win

Walkerton 7 Goderich 6

Kyle Somani tied the game with a power play goal midway through the third and Braden Boley scored the game winner less than two minute later to give Walkerton a 7-6 victory over Goderich.

Skylar Rutledge tied the game for the Flyers at 17:48 of the second.

Mathew Donnelly stopped 30 shots for the win. Kevin Linker made 28 saves for Goderich.

Braden Boley and Spencer Elder led the Hawks offense wtih a goal and two assists each.

Mitchell 8 Wingham 6

Derek Elliot had a hat trick in the Mitchell Hawks 8-6 win over Wingham.

THe Ironmen were led by Jamie Huber with a pair of goals and an assist. Rhys Vollmer set up three of the Ironmen's goals.

Tyler Parr made 39 saves for the Hawks who were out shot 45-26.

Jamie Brock took the loss for the Ironmen.

Exeter 2 Port Stanley 1

Christian Petrozza scored late in the second and that would stand as the game winner in the Exeter Hawks 2-1 win over Port Stanley.

Jonathon Frook opened the scoring on the power play early in the middle frame.

Mack Tufford put the Sailors on the board with just 33 seconds left in the game, spoiling Dane Gubbels shut out bid. Gubbels stopped 32 shots for the Hawks. Ryan Langford made 35 saves for the Sailors.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
