Grey County OPP Offer Safe Christmas Shopping Tips For Black Friday

As the Christmas shopping season gets underway, Grey County OPP warn residents to beware of the opportunistic thief.

The OPP say people need to take precautions to ensure their purchases make it under the Christmas tree.

Keep your wallet or purse safely secured on your person at all times, and don't carry large amounts of cash.

Use debit and credit, but always protect your pin number.

Also, don't lug around a large number of gifts, but go drop them off in a hidden area of your vehicle, or covered with a blanket.

Lock your vehicle, roll up your windows, and park in well-lit areas.
