Rims And Tires Stolen From New Cars On Goderich Lot

A car dealership in Goderich has been the target of a well-planned theft.

A delivery driver pulling into the Goderich Honda dealership lot around 4am last Friday morning noticed several vehicles up on blocks with missing rims and tires.

Five new Honda vehicles had a complete set of tires and rims stolen. The total value of the stolen rims and tires is estimated at $17,000. Police believe suspects used a lift jack device to complete the theft.

A passenger side window of a new Honda Accord was also smashed and a wheel lock key was stolen.

Anyone with information that could assist the OPP with this theft and vandalism case is asked to call the Huron OPP detachment, or through Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
