Increase Coming For Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority Budget

The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority's board approved next year's budget at this week's board meeting.

The proposed budget, with a two per cent increase, had been circulated to the Authority's member municipalities and the board was able to vote on it at this week's meeting. General Manager Brian Horner, says the vote was unanimous in favour of the budget with the two per cent increase.

“It was unanimous. They voted in favour of approving the two per cent budget increase. That's what they asked and, you know, over time we gave that to them and they said yes to it.”
